Gökbilge Space and Rocket Technologies was founded in Ankara in 2004 by eight engineers who left a university rocket research laboratory. Our first product was a sounding rocket reaching 4 km, used for university experiments. Today our 620 staff operate in propulsion, guidance, satellite and launch technologies.

Mission

To strengthen Türkiye's access to space through domestic design and production, and to provide reliable systems for defence and civil space applications.

Vision

To provide regular commercial satellite launch services to low Earth orbit with domestic launch capability by 2032.

Milestones

• 2004: Founding, first sounding rocket flight
• 2011: First solid motor test facility
• 2016: Serial production of tactical rocket systems
• 2021: First GU-series CubeSat reached orbit
• 2025: SR-8 scientific campaign, ÜF-250 hybrid motor tests
